The First Tee: TSC Agents Golf for a Good Cause

On April 26, TSC founder Bret Starr and agent Stu Arledge participated in The First Tee of Fort Worth’s 2013 Golf Marathon — the nonprofit organization’s biggest fundraiser of the year. The annual Golf Marathon is a 12-hour event where golfers play as many holes as possible to raise money for The First Tee of Fort Worth’s programming for the year.

The First Tee of Fort Worth is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to impact the lives of young people by providing learning facilities and access to programs that build character, and to instill life-enhancing values and promote wellness through the game of golf. The Starr Conspiracy previously participated in The First Tee’s chili cook-off fundraiser earlier this year.

This year’s Golf Marathon set a record — passing the $100,000 mark for the first time.

Thirty-one players participated this year, playing over 3,000 holes — some participants played as many as 150 holes in 12 hours. Former Fort Worth mayor Mike Moncrief even came out to play a few holes.

Stu played 122 holes during the event, and he and Bret had a blast golfing for 12 hours in the beautiful spring weather for a great cause.
