Just a few days ago, Mitt Romney released an app that will tell you when he picks his running mate. According to The Christina Science Monitor, “The app will have no ostensible purpose after the vice-presidential selection is announced.”

Not to be outdone, Barack Obama released an app that taps into his roots as a community organizer and allows people to learn more about campaign events and volunteer opportunities. The app is integrated into a larger database called Dashboard.
