We won’t lie — Las Vegas has been good to us. More specifically, the HR Tech® Conference has been great to us. We’ve been able to grow the InfluenceHR event each year. We’ve had the pleasure of buying drinks for just about every workplace technology vendor that has ever stepped foot on the expo floor. And just last year, one of our directors won a cool $17 with a fateful pull of a Duck Dynasty slot machine lever.
Needless to say — The Starr Conspiracy does Vegas right. Even still, we knew something was amiss from our yearly bash on the strip.
You see, The Starr Conspiracy is not who you would call, “Vegas People.”
Nothing against the town. Beautiful lights. Great catering. It’s just that we prefer wine and nature over cigarettes and sadness. That’s why we have an office in San Francisco, where we can have it all.

InfluenceHR is coming home.
For the first time since 2014, InfluenceHR is coming home to San Francisco.
At the end of the day, anyone can host a party in Las Vegas. We’ve been there, done that, and burned the evidence. This year is going to be decidedly different. This year, we’re bringing InfluenceHR back home to the bay and delivering a next-level B2B event in our own backyard.
Also, Vegas is really hot.
So, what’s new for 2019?
Migrating away from Las Vegas isn’t the only change — InfluenceHR 2019 has been completely reimagined from top to bottom. Here are all the fun facts you need to know ahead of your trip to SF:

Related: Although InfluenceHR no longer immediately precedes HR Tech, The Starr Conspiracy will maintain a large presence in Las Vegas this fall — we encourage you to join us at the HR Tech Partnership Summit and then grab a drink (or three) in Ocho’s Lounge on the expo floor.
The Location
Hosted in the heart of San Francisco, walking distance from The Starr Conspiracy’s SOMA base camp, the 2019 event provides exclusive access to key influencers, analysts, and decision-makers from the brands making the most noise in workplace technology.

The Format
We heard your feedback and we’ve made changes. This year we are transitioning to a half-day conference featuring a single track of content, shorter sessions, never-before-presented insights from The Starr Conspiracy, a top-shelf keynote speaker, and an exclusive networking event for InfluenceHR attendees and partners.
No longer will you have to choose your own adventure and potentially miss out on any of the knowledge bombs presented across the hall. InfluenceHR 2019 is going to be different, and it’s going to be glorious.
The Cost
This year, we’ve eliminated the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas and have focused our efforts on providing you with the most impactful conference experience. Most important, InfluenceHR is your event and we want you to be there. Every single one of you.
With that said, we’re proud to offer our lowest ticket price in history — $199.
