Roll out a customer advocacy program: If you have the option to roll out a full-on customer advocacy program using a tool like Influitive, do it. Platforms like Influitive offer you a structure to gamify advocacy, providing points and, ultimately, rewards, for completing certain customer asks like testimonials, case studies, referrals, and more.
Make their lives easy and delight on a dime: Delight is a fleeting emotion, and the operational costs of achieving “delight” are high. So what are you to do if you want to go the extra mile for your customers in a sustainable and meaningful way? Ask yourself if your plan to delight your customers is actually disruptive or if goes an extra step toward seamlessly making their lives as easy as possible. If you want to delight your customers, delight them with smaller, personal gestures, which can go just about as far as grand gestures with a much more sustainable operating cost.
Celebrate client milestones: Have a client celebrating a milestone anniversary with you? Are they celebrating a major milestone in their business — a revenue goal, anniversary, did they close a major deal? Celebrate with them by sending champagne, congratulate them over social media, or take a photo of your team celebrating remotely with them.
